Day 18 - A COOL Journey

Today was a nice easy, relaxed and COOL (yes, you read this right, cool!) day! The day consisted of only travelling between Jaffna and Wattala, by mini bus, which happened to have air conditioning! Luxury.

I spent this morning packing, cleaning and playing with Thenu. It’s official, I have broken his fear of foreigners as today he asked me to pick him up! 7 days ago, he would have NEVER even allowed me to hold his hand. Success, I think we will be friends!

We left for Wattala around 12:30, and arrived at Jenny’s house by 9pm. As usual it was a rather uneventful journey, apart from the few times we almost encountered death. Nothing unusual, as this is Sri Lanka afterall.
